Hi! I am Jess and this is a little story about me:

Despite growing up feeling like an outsider among the humans, the camera-wielding alien known as Jess, finds solace and purpose in exploring Earth as a documentarian of life. Her own experiences of solo self-reflection and individuality gives her a unique perspective on human behavior, and she is determined to capture the beauty and complexity of this fascinating world and species through her lens.

As she roams the planet with her camera in hand, this visionary photog approaches every person and place with an inquisitive mindset. Her unique perspective being a non-human observer allows her to look past surface-level differences and appreciate the richness and diversity of the human experience. Though she sometimes struggles with anxiety and inner turmoil, she remaines dedicated to capturing the true essence of humanity through her lens and sharing it with the world.

Her biggest joy is exploring abandoned places because it was how she felt about herself - quiet, peaceful, and in a state of beautiful deterioration.

Light painting brings her peace because it is a reminder her that light can erase darkness. She loves dancing in the dark with quirky light sources to capture shapes and designs using long-exposure photography.

She continues to document the world through her lens, always with a non-judgmental and inclusive perspective. She sees the beauty in everything and everyone, no matter their differences or their self-percieved "flaws." As an alien observer, she can help others share the world and individual realities in a more compassionate and accepting way.

Or maybe, she just wants to take over the world by making some sense of it.

In conclusion--

I hope we can share some space and time!

 --Jes

Testimonials

“I hadn't realized this was around the Solstice that year. I hadn't forgotten about this night, but I forgot about writing.
Thank you for fostering such enriching experiences, Jess . 💚 And thank you for helping each of us bring out into reality what exists in our skulls. Expression can be clumsy or beautiful or a lovely mixture of both.”

“When I need an extra camera person for creative portrait or video work, or just need a creative hand on lighting/setups, I never hesitate to ask Jess. She's been such an asset on many jobs and thinks like no one else in the creative field.”

“Jess makes the photo session so much fun! The kids get to just be silly and she captures some amazing shots while they do what they do best. I love that we can just relax as a family in the pictures and she captures the love and warmth between us. Highly recommend for your photography needs!”
